Inside the vast computer community, there are always going to be new advancements made to make the computer and you are more efficient and productive. When talking about one of the most important parts of the computer, arguably it is the operating system. Being that it is one of the best and a lot of users use Windows 8, Microsoft has enabled the operating system to work with all types of control mechanisms, these include a mouse Keyboard, and touch screen. With the new update to the program over the life span of the operating system they have also figured out other mechanisms that people would like to be able to access where they used to not be able to, so they have made advances in those fields including the taskbar and media control. They also added some new shortcuts including selecting multiple filers by holding control and clicking on the file that you would like to select. Joe Belfiore shows off all of these new mechanics that they have added in the Update talks about how they can be used to help you improve your everyday use of your computer. One of the top additions to be added is the fact that when you use the Bing smart search in your taskbar it will now also bring up your computer applications which makes it easier for you to be able to find applications that you, the user do not have as a short cut on your computers home screen. This update has made the operating system more user friendly and defiantly makes it easier for people that are “computer illiterate” to understand how to use all the features of the operating system which in turn has made the users of Windows 8 and the computer the most effective, efficient, and overall, the most productive that they can be. These many advancements that are constantly being made for the computer community in today’s day and age are constantly setting new standards and staples for what people are expecting out of their technology which in turn makes there be a want for them to update the operating systems to be more like Microsoft’s windows which will mean that they will need to get ahead of the competition and make there always be a want for the new and next thing in the ever-expanding computer community.
